Well, here it is! My first post...and if it wasn't for my friends calling me up reminding me that I am the only one without a blog, this wouldn't be here! So here is a fairly recent picture (Dec. 2007) of our family in the front yard of our new home in Fairbanks, AK. We often wonder with mixed feelings how we ended back in Fairbanks, but we are here nonetheless and enjoying it especially now that we have over 22 hours of daylight. Matt took a job here managing a grant to open community health centers available to natives and non-natives in 5 different villages. It has been a real challenge and tons of work for him and also rewarding. I have been recovering from a hard early pregnancy and now enjoying feeling human again. Abrahm turned 4 in May and is just amazingly energetic and imaginative at this point in his life. It is so fun to see him become a little boy with such strong character. I want to add a few video clips but need to figure out how to make the files a bit smaller for uploading.
